I've spun all styles of music, but, house music is my passion. I like progressive house, deep house, and deep space house, and I do believe that all styles have a place in one's life, completely that fits the mood. I respect this site that frowns on deep house, trap, etc.
I, as well do not believe that some edm has no business using the label of "House Music", although the producers or whoever have given these trax this label. EDM, to me, is exactly that, Electronic Dance Music, which, in my opinion, coversa wide range of music that is derived from being created electronically, versus, being created by playing actual instruments. So, in this, isn't that which we can all attest to, and agree as House Music, isn't it danceable? And, if it's not been created by playing actual instruments, drums, not a drum machine, but, actual drums and other instruments, wouldn't this be considered as derived from an Electronic basis? Comprehending this, isn't EDM an umbrella for all danceable music created via electronics?
